project outcome
Live-edge timber joined mechanically rather than with epoxy, made entirely from reclaimed offcuts.
Built from offcuts left over from the Dining Table project, Split works with a single live edge across the piece rather than concealing or squaring it away.
Rather than bonding the two timber halves with epoxy, the piece relies on a mechanical joint to hold the live-edge halves together while remaining functional furniture.
