Sculptural Garden Canopies
project impact
Eight sculptural atrium canopies for the Cabravale Club Resort redevelopment, ranging from 4 to 8 metres high. I helped turn Altis Architecture’s concept into a coordinated steel, GRC, lighting and aluminium package that could be fabricated and installed in an occupied building.

project outcome
Eight atrium canopies ranging from 4 to 8 metres high. Project value: $1M AUD. Design phase: 4 months. Installation: 1.5 weeks of structural work and 1 week of commissioning.
My contribution: detailed design, fabrication documentation, visualisation, fabrication management and installation planning. I coordinated design teams, fabricators and suppliers across structural frames, GRC cladding, wing panels and integrated lighting.
Delivery challenge: tight tolerances, finish coordination and strict safety protocols during the final construction phase. I managed sequencing and documentation to keep the canopies buildable, safe and aligned with the intended spatial experience.
